Would you like to see what information about you or your child is being processed in the PESEL register, or download a certificate containing a full or partial copy of the information? Or perhaps you would like to download a permanent residence certificate? You can do this online or in the office.

You can now check what information about you or your child is being processed in the PESEL register and download the certificate online. Find out, what is the PESEL register.
Do not print! A printed certificate is no longer a document! It is considered a document only if it is in electronic form - it bears an advanced seal of the Minister responsible for digitalization.

Who can check the details or download the certificate
- Anyone with a PESEL id.
- In the case of a minor child:
- a parent whose PESEL number is in the child's data register (so-called parental link),
- a parent with full parental rights.

What do you need to do
- Click this button: Check the details in the PESEL register or download the certificate.
- The system will redirect you to your trusted profile page. Log in to your account.
- After logging in, the system will take you back to the service: Check the details in the PESEL register or download the certificate.
- Select whose details you want to check.
- If you are the parent of more than one child, select which child's details you want to check
- To access details or download a certificate for your child, you will need to provide a statement confirming that you have full parental authority over the minor.
- After checking the details:
- if you do not want to download the certificate - click the Cancel button,
- if you want to download a certificate - click the Request a certificate button.
- When downloading a certificate, please indicate whether you want a full copy of the details or only selected details. You can choose which details to include in the certificate and whether you are requesting current or historical data.
- You can download a certificate for more than one person.
- If you do not see your child on the list, your details may not have been linked in the PESEL register. To link your details with your child's details, please submit a letter:
- online through ePuap (a general letter) or
- at the registry office that issued your child's birth certificate, or
- at the municipal office where you are registered, if you do not have Polish citizenship.
- Click Next to create the document.
- Check your ePUAP mailbox - you will find a certificate of the requested information in PDF format, with the advanced electronic seal of the Minister responsible for digitalization.

What is the advanced electronic seal
The advanced electronic seal of the Minister of digitalization, applied by the national application, confirms the authenticity of the document and presents data from the State Register.
A printout of such a document is only a reproduction of the original, i.e. its visualisation. The electronic seal, which is embedded in the file document can not be printed. Therefore, you should not print this information as the recipient will not be able to verify that it comes from an original document.

Who can receive the certificate
- Anyone with a PESEL id.
- In the case of a minor child:
- a parent whose PESEL number is in the child's data register (so-called parental link),
- a parent with full parental rights.
If there is no parental relationship in the PESEL register, submit the letter:
- online via ePuap (a general letter) or
- at the registry office that issued your child's birth certificate, or
- at the municipal office where you are registered, if you are not a Polish citizen.

What do you need to prepare
- Your or your child's personal details, e.g. first name, surname and PESEL id.
- Confirmation of payment of stamp duty on the certificate.

What do you need to do
- Write an application and provide your first name, surname, PESEL id and your mail address.
- Indicate whether you want the certificate to cover your details or your child's details.
- Indicate the type of certificate you would like to receive: a full or partial copy of your or your child's details.
- If the certificate is for your child, provide his/her details and include the following statement in your application: "I hereby declare that I have full parental authority over the minor named in this report. I am aware of the criminal consequences of providing false information.”
- Sign the application.
- Send the application by post or hand it in at any municipal office in the country.

How much will you pay
The stamp duty is PLN 17 per each person. The fee must be paid into the account of the local authority to which the application is made.

You will receive a response within 7 days of submitting your application. The certificate may be in the form of a printout from the IT system.
