Jakub Stefaniak

Born on August 29, 1981 in Lublin. Polish politician, television journalist.

A graduate of the history of art at the Faculty of Humanities of the Catholic University of Lublin.

He has been associated with TVP Lublin since 2003, and since 2007 he has been a reporter and host of programs on TVP Info, TVP 1 and TVP 2.

He dealt mainly with military issues. In 2015, he left journalism and became involved in politics.

In the years 2015-2019, he was the press spokesman of the Polish People's Party, later deputy director of the Senate Information Centre, spokesman and director of the Communication Office at the Ministry of Development and Technology.

In the years 2022-2024, lecturer at the Faculty of Humanities of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw.

On February 7, 2025, he was appointed by the Prime Minister to the position of Secretary of State and Deputy Head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.

Privately, Ewa's husband and Alicja's father. Aviation and motorcycle tourism enthusiast.
