Celebration of the National Day of the 3rd of May at NATO Headquarters

The Permanent Delegation and the Polish Military Representation to NATO organized a reception at NATO Headquarters to celebrate the National Day of the 3rd of May.
The event gathered Ambassadors, the Deputy Secretary General, representatives of the International Secretariat, the International Military Staff, as well as allied Delegations and selected partner countries.
In his speech, Ambassador Jacek Najder referred to the wave of reforms that led to the adoption of the first Polish Constitution. NATO is currently facing challenges that also require restructuring, especially in military dimension. He also pointed out that in the 18th century, Poland was isolated. Today, however, we are part of a strong alliance, united by common values.
The ceremony was accompanied by an exhibition that introduced guests to the history of the Constitution of May 3rd.
